Shipping, returns & PAYMENTS
ORDER PROCESSING:
All orders are processed and shipped from our studio in the UK. We offer delivery within UK, Europe, US and most other international countries and regions. Original artworks are shipped within 7-10 business days of placement of the order.
You will be notified by email to let you know when your order is on the way.
SHIPPING RATES:
For all original paintings shipping is charged at a flat rate of £8.95 for UK Mainland and £29.95 for International orders sold directly through the website. Items mark for oversized shipping are charged at £29.95 per item for UK Mainland and £59.95 per item for international delivery.
For all Works on Paper shipping is charged at a flat rate of £8.95 for UK Mainland and £14.95 for International orders sold directly through the website.
All artworks are shipped with tracking and are insured whilst in transit. We do not currently offer fast track shipping.
CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES:
All relevant customs information and documents are submitted by Piers Phillips to the courier prior to the artworks are shipped. The buyer may be contacted by Piers Phillips or the courier company for any additional information for processing during the shipping process.
For International delivery, the final price at checkout does not include any customs duties and taxes that your destination country may apply upon delivery of your order. Piers Phillips is not responsible for these charges, if they are applied they are obligatory and your responsibility as the customer.

PACKAGING & PROTECTION:
We take extra precautionary measures to ensure adequate protection of the artworks and a secure delivery. Original artworks are securely packaged and shipped in either double walled corrugated boxes or custom wooden crates.
DELIVERY:
Deliveries are made to the address indicated by the buyer and in the manner specified in the order summary. Upon delivery, buyers should verify the content of the delivery and report anomalies without undue delay, using the contact details provided in this document or as described in the delivery note - with photographic evidence of both the product and its original packaging.
FAILED DELIVERY
Piers Phillips cannot be held responsible for delivery errors due to inaccuracies or incompleteness in the execution of the purchase order by the buyer, nor for any damages or delays after handover to any carrier arranged by the buyer and not offered or recommended by the seller.
If the goods are not received or collected at the time or within the deadline specified, the goods will be returned to Piers Phillips, who will contact the buyer to schedule a second delivery attempt or to agree on further course of action.
Unless otherwise agreed, second delivery attempts onwards shall be at the buyers expense.
RETURNS & REFUNDS:
UK customers are entitled under the consumer rights act to return their item if notifying the seller within 14 days of it being delivered to the customers specified address. The customer must then return the item with 14 days of notifying the seller of their wish to return the item or no refund can be offered. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. The return of the item is at the customers expensive and must be packaged and shipped appropriately as to not damage the item in transit. Once your return is returned and inspected, we will email you to confirm it has been and approved, your refund will be processed and you will be credited automatically. Unfortunately, we will be unable to offer you a refund if we are not notified of your wish to return the item more than 14 days after the artwork was delivered.
If your order arrives damaged or in poor condition, please notify us by email as soon as possible, including digital photos, your order number, date of purchase and date of delivery. Once the return request is reviewed and agreed, the return of damaged items will be paid for by Piers Phillips but the items must be carefully readied for shipping as to not damage the item and further in transit. Once your return is returned and inspected, we will email you to confirm it has been and approved, your refund will be processed and you will be credited automatically.
For international shipments (items delivered to an address outside the UK) refunds can only be offered if artworks that are damaged upon arrival. There are no returns offered on customised or bespoke items.
